WIND TURBINES “LITEMIGHT TOWER” ™

The patented parachute catchers on our turbines successfully and elegantly solve a basic structural problem of vertical axis turbines by having zero reverse drag and eliminating its losses – thus giving them twice the wind power generation. In turn, this makes them competitive (and dominant) in efficiency with the most popular types of turbines – those with a horizontal axis. At the same time, the proportion of the transverse working space of our parachute catchers significantly exceeds that of the massive but narrow propellers on a horizontal axis.

Our patented design also results in an extreme, over 80% lightening of the turbine structures, composed of strong lattice frames, technical fabrics, flexible connections, and extensive void space. This significantly eases the logistics and financing of their production, transport, installation and maintenance. Also, the professional materials used (ripstop nylon and others) guarantee their long service life.

There is also an option to upgrade the rotors, especially vertically, which gradually increases their power. At the same time, tried and tested approaches are applied to preserve their stability. Their transverse “T”-shaped hardware profile makes them extremely resistant to strong gusts. Remotely operated winches allow active control of parachute catchers in extreme weather events. In addition, the side-saber strokes characteristic of horizontal-axis turbines, which have a killing effect on flying birds, are eliminated.
